  1. 1. Soak the gelatin in a bowl of cold water.
  2. 2. Remove the stems from the strawberries and wash them thoroughly.
  3. 3. Gently pat the strawberries dry with kitchen paper.
  4. 4. Cut the strawberries into small pieces.
  5. 5. Mix the mascarpone, crème double, powdered sugar, and lemon zest in a large bowl.
  6. 6. Warm the orange liqueur in a small saucepan.
  7. 7. Squeeze the soaked gelatin sheet well to remove excess water.
  8. 8. Dissolve the squeezed gelatin in the warm orange liqueur.
  9. 9. Stir the gelatin mixture into the mascarpone cream.
  10. 10. Whip the cream with a mixer until it is firm.
  11. 11. Whip the egg whites together with the sugar until stiff.
  12. 12. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  13. 13. Gently fold the stiffly beaten egg whites into the mascarpone cream.
  14. 14. Halve the amarettini cookies.
  15. 15. Distribute the halved amarettini cookies at the bottom of the glasses.
  16. 16. Layer the strawberries and mascarpone cream alternately over the cookies.
  17. 17. Place the glasses in the refrigerator for one hour to chill.
  18. 18. Decorate the finished tiramisu with fresh mint leaves before serving.
