  1. 1. Squeeze the lemon to extract the juice.
  2. 2. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
  3. 3. Scrape out the tiny seeds (the pulp) from the pod.
  4. 4. Place the strawberries in a bowl with water.
  5. 5. Gently wash the berries.
  6. 6. Pat the strawberries completely dry with kitchen paper.
  7. 7. Remove the green stems from the strawberries.
  8. 8. Cut the cleaned strawberries into small pieces.
  9. 9. Put the cut berries into a tall container.
  10. 10. Add the apple syrup.
  11. 11. Add the vanilla pulp to the container.
  12. 12. Pour in the lemon juice.
  13. 13. Add the yogurt to the mixture.
  14. 14. Puree all ingredients finely using a hand blender.
  15. 15. Pour the smoothie into glasses.
  16. 16. Add some ice cubes to the glasses.
  17. 17. Stir the drink well.
  18. 18. Serve the smoothie immediately.
  19. 19. Use still water if you prefer a thinner smoothie.
