🍰 Strawberry Mascarpone Mousse in Chocolate Cups

Ingredients
- 300 g white chocolate
- 75 ml heavy cream (at least 30% fat content)
- 200 g fresh, ripe strawberries
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 200 g mascarpone
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 150 ml heavy cream (at least 30% fat content)
Instructions
- 1. Roughly chop the white chocolate.
- 2. Place the chocolate pieces and the cream in a saucepan.
- 3. Melt the mixture over low heat while stirring.
- 4. Get the chocolate cup molds ready.
- 5. Make sure the molds are open at the bottom.
- 6. Pour the liquid chocolate into the molds.
- 7. Tilt and rotate the molds gently.
- 8. Distribute the chocolate evenly along the sides.
- 9. Let the excess chocolate drain out of the molds.
- 10. Place the molds on a wire rack.
- 11. Let the chocolate shells dry completely.
- 12. Carefully remove the hardened shells from the molds.
- 13. Wash the strawberries thoroughly.
- 14. Remove the green stems and leaves.
- 15. Select two nice strawberries for decoration.
- 16. Set these two berries aside.
- 17. Put the rest of the strawberries into a blender.
- 18. Add the lemon juice.
- 19. Puree the mixture until smooth.
- 20. Whip the cream in a bowl until stiff.
- 21. Mix the mascarpone with the strawberry puree.
- 22. Add the powdered sugar.
- 23. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- 24. Fill the mousse into the prepared chocolate shells.
- 25. Halve the two reserved strawberries.
- 26. Garnish each cup with a half strawberry.
- 27. Serve the mousse immediately.
