🍽️ Fresh Jam Made with Strawberries and Kiwis

Ingredients
- 750 g strawberries
- 250 g kiwi
- 1 kg jam sugar
- 2 lemons (juice)
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1 vanilla pod
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the strawberries under running water.
- 2. Remove the green stems and leaves from the strawberries.
- 3. Cut the prepared strawberries into small pieces.
- 4. Peel the kiwis completely, removing all the skin.
- 5. Cut the peeled kiwis into small pieces as well.
- 6. Place the cut strawberries and kiwis into a large pot.
- 7. Pour the lemon juice over the fruit in the pot.
- 8. Add the sugar to the fruits and juice.
- 9. Slit the vanilla pod lengthwise so it is open.
- 10. Add the slit vanilla pod to the pot.
- 11. Add a pinch of pepper to the mixture.
- 12. Heat the mixture on the stove until it begins to boil.
- 13. Let the jam simmer vigorously according to the package instructions.
- 14. Remove the pot from the heat once the cooking time is finished.
- 15. Remove the vanilla pod from the hot jam.
- 16. Fill the hot jam immediately into the prepared, clean jars.
- 17. Seal the jars airtight to preserve them.
