🍽️ Fresh Strawberry Iced Tea with Mint

Ingredients
- 2 handfuls mint
- 4 bags strawberry tea
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tbsp honey
- 400 g strawberries
- 0.5 organic lemon
- 2 handfuls ice cubes
Instructions
- 1. Wash the mint thoroughly and shake it dry.
- 2. Pluck the mint leaves off the stems.
- 3. Place the tea bags, half of the mint leaves, and the cinnamon stick into a teapot.
- 4. Pour one liter of boiling water over the ingredients.
- 5. Let the tea cool down for about five minutes.
- 6. Stir the honey into the still warm tea.
- 7. Place the teapot in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
- 8. Remove the stems from the strawberries and wash them.
- 9. Halve the washed strawberries.
- 10. Rinse the lemon under hot water and dry it thoroughly.
- 11. Grate the lemon peel and squeeze out the juice.
- 12. Strain the cold tea through a sieve into a carafe or bowl.
- 13. Add the halved strawberries, one teaspoon of lemon zest, and lemon juice to taste to the tea.
- 14. Add a few ice cubes and the remaining mint leaves.
- 15. Serve the iced tea cold.
