Ingredients
- 1.5 kg strawberries
- 2 red chili peppers
- 1 lemon
- 500 g diet pectin sugar (3:1)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly and remove the green stems.
- 2. Puree the prepared strawberries into a smooth mash.
- 3. Slice the chili pepper into thin rings.
- 4. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon.
- 5. Mix the strawberry puree, chili rings, and lemon juice with the sugar in a pot.
- 6. Heat the mixture while stirring constantly until it begins to boil.
- 7. Let the jam simmer for about 5 minutes while stirring constantly.
- 8. Perform a setting test to check if the jam is firm enough.
- 9. Fill the hot jam into prepared, clean jars.
