🍳 Fruity Jam Made with Strawberries and Apricots

Ingredients
- 800 g fresh strawberries
- 500 g fresh apricots
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 20 ml orange liqueur
- 600 g jam sugar (2:1)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the strawberries and apricots under running water.
- 2. Remove the green stems and leaves from the strawberries.
- 3. Cut the strawberries into small pieces.
- 4. Halve the apricots and remove the pits.
- 5. Cut the pitted apricots into small pieces as well.
- 6. Place the cut strawberries and apricots together into a large pot.
- 7. Briefly puree the fruits in the pot using a hand blender until they are slightly crushed.
- 8. Stir the sugar and lemon juice into the fruit mixture.
- 9. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring.
- 10. Let the jam boil vigorously for about four minutes.
- 11. Add the liqueur to the boiling jam and stir it in.
- 12. Perform a setting test to check if the jam has set properly.
- 13. Fill the hot jam into clean, prepared jars.
- 14. Seal the jars tightly and let the jam cool down completely inside them.
