  1. 1. Rinse the peas under cold running water.
  2. 2. Place the peas in the meat broth and let them soak overnight.
  3. 3. Peel the vegetables the next day.
  4. 4. Cut the vegetables into small cubes.
  5. 5. Bring the peas and the broth to a boil.
  6. 6. Add the spices and the chopped vegetables to the soup.
  7. 7. Simmer the soup over medium heat for 45 to 50 minutes.
  8. 8. Melt the butter in a separate pan.
  9. 9. Stir the flour into the melted butter.
  10. 10. Let the flour mixture brown slightly.
  11. 11. Take some of the hot soup and stir it into the flour mixture.
  12. 12. Pour the thinned flour mixture back into the rest of the soup pot.
  13. 13. Season the soup with salt, pepper, and marjoram.
  14. 14. Let the soup thicken briefly until creamy.
  15. 15. Slice the sausage diagonally.
  16. 16. Heat a grill pan with oil.
  17. 17. Fry the sausage slices in the hot pan on both sides.
  18. 18. Fill the finished soup into bowls.
  19. 19. Place three slices of sausage on each bowl of soup.
  20. 20. Garnish the soup with freshly chopped parsley.
  21. 21. Serve the soup hot.
