🍽️ Creamy Pea Soup with Mini Cabanossi

Ingredients
- 150 g onions (3 onions)
- 240 g lettuce (3 lettuces)
- 45 g butter (3 tbsp)
- 1.2 kg peas (frozen)
- soy sauce
- pepper
- 300 g mini- Cabanossi
- 300 ml milk (1.5 % fat)
- 450 g whole grain bread (10 slice)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings.
- 2. Wash the lettuce, shake off excess water, and remove tough stems.
- 3. Cut the lettuce into eight equal pieces.
- 4. Heat the butter in a large pot.
- 5. Sauté the onion rings until they are soft and translucent.
- 6. Add the cut lettuce to the pot.
- 7. Sauté the lettuce for 3 to 4 minutes until it wilts.
- 8. Add the frozen peas.
- 9. Heat the peas for about 5 minutes until they are thawed.
- 10. Pour 300 milliliters of water into the pot.
- 11. Puree the soup with a hand blender until smooth.
- 12. Season the soup with soy sauce and pepper to taste.
- 13. Add the mini cabanossi sausages to the soup.
- 14. Heat the soup again until the sausages are warm.
- 15. Pour the milk into a tall container.
- 16. Froth the milk with a milk frother.
- 17. Stir the frothed milk into the soup.
- 18. Serve the soup hot with whole grain bread.
