🍽️ Creamy Pea and Lime Soup

Ingredients
- 400 g frozen peas (or fresh peeled peas)
- 3 sprigs fresh cilantro
- 1 white onion
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 limes (juice)
- sesame oil
- 2 tbsp black sesame seeds
Instructions
- 1. Fill a pot with plenty of water and add a pinch of salt.
- 2. Cook the peas in it for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 3. Drain the cooking water.
- 4. Peel the onion and chop it very finely.
- 5. Heat 2 tablespoons of sesame oil in a clean pot.
- 6. Sauté the chopped onions until soft over low heat.
- 7. Deglaze the onions with 125 milliliters of water.
- 8. Bring the liquid to a boil.
- 9. Add the cooked peas to the mixture.
- 10. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 11. Let the soup cool down briefly.
- 12. Wash the coriander thoroughly.
- 13. Pick the coriander leaves off the stems.
- 14. Add the coriander leaves, 1 to 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, and the juice of one lime to the pot.
- 15. Puree the soup very finely using a hand blender.
- 16. Season the soup with salt.
- 17. Finish with a generous amount of black pepper.
- 18. Divide the soup into small bowls.
- 19. Garnish with fresh coriander.
- 20. Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top.
- 21. Serve the soup.
