  1. 1. Fill a pot with plenty of water and add a pinch of salt.
  2. 2. Cook the peas in it for 8 to 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Drain the cooking water.
  4. 4. Peel the onion and chop it very finely.
  5. 5. Heat 2 tablespoons of sesame oil in a clean pot.
  6. 6. Sauté the chopped onions until soft over low heat.
  7. 7. Deglaze the onions with 125 milliliters of water.
  8. 8. Bring the liquid to a boil.
  9. 9. Add the cooked peas to the mixture.
  10. 10. Remove the pot from the heat.
  11. 11. Let the soup cool down briefly.
  12. 12. Wash the coriander thoroughly.
  13. 13. Pick the coriander leaves off the stems.
  14. 14. Add the coriander leaves, 1 to 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, and the juice of one lime to the pot.
  15. 15. Puree the soup very finely using a hand blender.
  16. 16. Season the soup with salt.
  17. 17. Finish with a generous amount of black pepper.
  18. 18. Divide the soup into small bowls.
  19. 19. Garnish with fresh coriander.
  20. 20. Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top.
  21. 21. Serve the soup.
