🍽️ Creamy Pea Dip with Herbs

Ingredients
- 300 g thawed fresh peas
- 1 clove garlic
- basil
- 50 g sour cream
- 1 cucumber
- 1 bunch celery stalks
- iodized salt
- pepper from the mill
Instructions
- 1. Place the frozen peas in a pot and cover them with 200 milliliters of water.
- 2. Cook the peas over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes until they are soft.
- 3. Drain the cooking water and keep only the peas.
- 4. Puree the warm peas with a hand blender until smooth.
- 5. Let the pea puree cool down completely before proceeding.
- 6. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them very finely.
- 7. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems and rinse them briefly.
- 8. Dry the basil leaves and chop them finely as well.
- 9. Stir the sour cream, chopped garlic, and basil into the cooled pea puree.
- 10. Season the dip to taste with salt and black pepper.
- 11. Wash the cucumber and celery stalks thoroughly.
- 12. Cut the vegetables into bite-sized strips or thin slices.
- 13. Serve the fresh vegetables together with the pea dip.
