  1. 1. Place the frozen peas in a pot and cover them with 200 milliliters of water.
  2. 2. Cook the peas over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes until they are soft.
  3. 3. Drain the cooking water and keep only the peas.
  4. 4. Puree the warm peas with a hand blender until smooth.
  5. 5. Let the pea puree cool down completely before proceeding.
  6. 6. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them very finely.
  7. 7. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems and rinse them briefly.
  8. 8. Dry the basil leaves and chop them finely as well.
  9. 9. Stir the sour cream, chopped garlic, and basil into the cooled pea puree.
  10. 10. Season the dip to taste with salt and black pepper.
  11. 11. Wash the cucumber and celery stalks thoroughly.
  12. 12. Cut the vegetables into bite-sized strips or thin slices.
  13. 13. Serve the fresh vegetables together with the pea dip.
