🍰 Strawberry Tiramisu with Egg Liqueur

Ingredients
- 250 g ladyfinger biscuits
- 60 ml orange liqueur
- 1 vanilla pod
- 400 g mascarpone
- 80 g powdered sugar
- 4 tbsp egg liqueur
- 100 g whipping cream
- 1 packet cream stabilizer
- 600 g strawberries
- 50 g sugar
- 50 g amarettini cookies
- 4 tbsp strawberry sauce
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1. Line a deep, rectangular baking dish with cling film.
- 2. Cover half of the bottom of the dish with ladyfingers.
- 3. Drizzle the biscuits with 30 milliliters of orange liqueur.
- 4. Split the vanilla pod lengthwise.
- 5. Scrape the seeds out of the vanilla pod.
- 6. Stir mascarpone, powdered sugar, and the vanilla seeds until smooth.
- 7. Stir the egg liqueur into the mascarpone mixture.
- 8. Whip the cream stiffly with cream stabilizer.
- 9. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone cream.
- 10. Hull and wash the strawberries.
- 11. Slice all strawberries except for three into slices.
- 12. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the first layer of ladyfingers.
- 13. Place half of the strawberry slices on the cream.
- 14. Arrange another layer of ladyfingers over the strawberries.
- 15. Drizzle the second layer of biscuits with orange liqueur again.
- 16. Spread the remaining mascarpone cream on the second layer of biscuits.
- 17. Place the remaining strawberry slices on the cream.
- 18. Crumble the amaretti cookies.
- 19. Sprinkle the top layer with the amaretti crumbs.
- 20. Place the tiramisu in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
- 21. Lift the tiramisu out of the dish using the cling film.
- 22. Cut the tiramisu into eight pieces.
- 23. Arrange the pieces on plates.
- 24. Dust the tiramisu with powdered sugar.
- 25. Add a dollop of strawberry sauce to the plate.
- 26. Halve the remaining whole strawberries.
- 27. Place the halved strawberries as a garnish.
