🍽️ Crispy Fried Potatoes with Juicy Entrecôtes

Ingredients
- 800 g Entrecôte (4 Entrecôtes)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 6 onions
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt
- pepper
- paprika powder
- 500 g boiled potatoes (from the day before)
- 3 tbsp ghee
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the meat under running water and then pat it completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 2. Rub the meat generously with salt and pepper.
- 3. Peel the potatoes and slice them into thin rounds.
- 4. Heat ghee (clarified butter) in a large frying pan.
- 5. Fry the potato slices in batches in the hot fat until crispy and golden brown on both sides.
- 6. Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings.
- 7. Heat butter and oil in a separate frying pan.
- 8. Fry the onion rings in batches in the fat mixture.
- 9. Season the onions with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 10. Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan over high heat.
- 11. Sear the entrecôtes for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side until cooked to your liking.
- 12. Place the cooked steaks onto the plates.
- 13. Top the steaks with the fried onion rings.
- 14. Serve the meat together with the crispy fried potatoes.
