  1. 1. Cut the Emmental cheese into 24 cubes of equal size.
  2. 2. Cut the whole grain bread into 8 pieces the same size as the cheese cubes. Tear the lettuce leaves into pieces of the same size.
  3. 3. Thread alternating pieces of bread, lettuce, and three cheese cubes onto the skewers. Place a small tomato cap on top of each and, if you like, stick a small Swiss flag on the very top.
