  1. 1. Squeeze the juice from the lemons.
  2. 2. Wash the ginger thoroughly.
  3. 3. Slice the ginger into thin rounds.
  4. 4. Add the lemon juice, ginger slices, honey, and 200 milliliters of water to a pot.
  5. 5. Heat the mixture, but do not let it boil.
  6. 6. Let the mixture steep for about 10 minutes.
  7. 7. Strain the liquid through a sieve to remove the ginger and pulp.
  8. 8. Let the lemonade base cool down completely.
  9. 9. Fill four lemonade glasses halfway with crushed ice.
  10. 10. Pour the cooled lemonade base over the ice.
  11. 11. Top up the glasses with chilled mineral water.
  12. 12. Choose still or sparkling water according to your preference.
  13. 13. Garnish each glass with a fresh lemon slice.
  14. 14. Serve the lemonade immediately.
