🍽️ Pickled Pumpkin

Ingredients
- 1 kg pumpkin
- 100 ml wine vinegar
- 250 g full cane sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp clove
- 10 g ginger
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the pumpkin under running water.
- 2. Peel off the skin if it is thick.
- 3. Cut the flesh into small cubes.
- 4. Place the pumpkin cubes in a pot.
- 5. Pour in enough water to just cover the cubes.
- 6. Add wine vinegar, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and cloves to the pot.
- 7. Peel the ginger.
- 8. Cut the ginger into thin strips.
- 9. Add the ginger strips to the pot as well.
- 10. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- 11. Let the mixture simmer for 6 to 8 minutes.
- 12. Immediately fill the hot mixture into preserving jars.
- 13. Seal the jars tightly.
