🍽️ Pickled Garlic in Spice Brine

Ingredients
- 500 g fresh garlic
- salt
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tbsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp juniper berries
- 200 ml white wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp honey
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic cloves completely from their skin.
- 2. Bring water with some salt to a boil.
- 3. Add the garlic cloves to the boiling salt water.
- 4. Let the garlic cook for about 5 minutes.
- 5. Remove the garlic from the water and let it drain.
- 6. Fill the drained garlic into the prepared jar.
- 7. Add cumin, mustard seeds, and juniper berries to the garlic in the jar.
- 8. Mix vinegar, half a teaspoon of salt, 100 milliliters of water, and honey in a pot.
- 9. Bring the vinegar mixture to a boil.
- 10. Pour the hot brine immediately over the garlic in the jar.
- 11. Seal the jar tightly and well.
