  3. 3. Cook the asparagus in this salted water until tender.
  4. 4. Cut the cooked asparagus into pieces about 3 centimeters long.
  5. 5. Add vinegar, oil, water, salt, and sugar to a pot.
  6. 6. Warm this mixture gently, but do not let it boil.
  7. 7. Pour the warm liquid over the asparagus pieces.
  8. 8. Let the salad sit for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  9. 9. Taste the salad again afterwards and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  10. 10. Finely chop some chives.
  11. 11. Sprinkle the chopped chives over the finished salad.
  12. 12. Now serve the salad.
