Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 4 tomatoes
- 4 leaves lettuce
- 4 slices white bread
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- salt
- 1 tbsp chives
- chives (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Poke the rounded end of the eggs with a needle.
- 2. Place the eggs in a pot with water.
- 3. Boil the eggs for 5 to 6 minutes.
- 4. Rinse the eggs immediately under cold water.
- 5. Peel the eggs.
- 6. Slice the eggs.
- 7. Wash the tomatoes.
- 8. Pat the tomatoes dry with a kitchen towel.
- 9. Remove the hard stem base of the tomatoes.
- 10. Slice the tomatoes.
- 11. Wash the lettuce leaves.
- 12. Dry the lettuce leaves with kitchen paper.
- 13. Spread the bread slices thinly with mayonnaise.
- 14. Place the lettuce on the bread.
- 15. Place the tomato slices on the lettuce.
- 16. Place the egg slices on the tomatoes.
- 17. Season the sandwich with salt.
- 18. Garnish the sandwich with fresh chive stems.
- 19. Garnish the sandwich with fine chive rings.
