  2. 2. Trim the dirty ends off the chives.
  3. 3. Shake the chives dry.
  4. 4. Cut the chives into small rings.
  5. 5. Place the chive rings on four small plates.
  6. 6. Peel the boiled eggs.
  7. 7. Cut a small slice from the bottom of the eggs so they stand stably.
  8. 8. Place the eggs on the plates.
  9. 9. Wash the tomatoes.
  10. 10. Cut the tomatoes in half.
  11. 11. Carefully scoop out the flesh and seeds with a small spoon.
  12. 12. Place the hollowed tomato halves on the eggs like mushroom caps.
  13. 13. Fill the mayonnaise into a piping bag.
  14. 14. If you do not have a piping bag, use a freezer bag with a corner cut off.
  15. 15. Dot small points with mayonnaise onto the tomato tops.
