🥤 Refreshing Hibiscus Lemon Balm Drink

Ingredients
- 3 hibiscus flowers
- 1 tsp honey (more or less to taste)
- 0.5 untreated lemon
- lemon balm (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Set aside a few hibiscus petals for garnish.
- 2. Place the remaining petals in about 150 milliliters of boiling water.
- 3. Let the mixture simmer gently for two to three minutes until the liquid turns a deep red color.
- 4. Sweeten the tea to taste with honey.
- 5. Allow the sweetened mixture to cool.
- 6. Strain the tea through a sieve to remove the petals.
- 7. Place the tea in the freezer for about ten minutes to chill it thoroughly.
- 8. Cut a slice from the lemon for garnish.
- 9. Squeeze the juice from the rest of the fruit.
- 10. Mix the lemon juice with the cooled tea.
- 11. Pour the mixture into a glass.
- 12. Garnish the drink with the lemon slice, the remaining hibiscus petals, and fresh lemon balm.
- 13. Serve immediately.
