Ingredients
- 250 g oyster mushrooms
- 250 g bamboo shoots (jar, fresh pack)
- 250 g seitan
- 2 garlic cloves
- 30 g ginger (1 piece)
- 1 red onion
- 1 red chili pepper
- 0.5 bunch cilantro
- 3 tbsp oil
- 400 ml classic vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice wine
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the mushrooms thoroughly.
- 2. Slice the mushrooms into thin pieces.
- 3. Cut the bamboo shoots into thin strips.
- 4. Cut the seitan into small, bite-sized cubes.
- 5. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 6. Peel the ginger and cut it into thin strips.
- 7. Peel the onion and cut it into strips as well.
- 8. Wash the chili pepper under running water.
- 9. Remove the stem of the chili.
- 10. Decide if you want to reduce the spiciness.
- 11. If you prefer it less spicy, remove the seeds from the chili.
- 12. Slice the chili pepper.
- 13. Wash the coriander under cold water.
- 14. Shake the coriander dry.
- 15. Chop the coriander finely.
- 16. Heat the oil in a wok.
- 17. Add the sliced mushrooms to the wok.
- 18. Fry the mushrooms while stirring constantly.
- 19. Fry the mushrooms for 2 minutes.
- 20. Add the seitan to the wok.
- 21. Add the chopped garlic to the wok.
- 22. Add the ginger strips to the wok.
- 23. Add the onion strips to the wok.
- 24. Fry all ingredients for 1 minute.
- 25. Add the bamboo shoots to the wok.
- 26. Add the chili slices to the wok.
- 27. Pour the broth into the wok.
- 28. Pour the soy sauce into the wok.
- 29. Pour the rice wine into the wok.
- 30. Let the dish simmer over medium heat.
- 31. Let the dish simmer for 3 minutes.
- 32. Stir the chopped coriander into the sauce.
- 33. Stir the sesame oil into the sauce.
- 34. Season the dish to taste with salt.
- 35. Season the dish to taste with pepper.
- 36. Serve the dish immediately.
- 37. Dissolve the starch in a little cold water.
- 38. Stir the starch solution into the sauce.
