  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Select the top and bottom heat setting.
  2. 2. Rinse the fish under cold water. Then pat it completely dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Season the inside of the fish with some salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Put half of the parsley stems into the belly cavity of the fish.
  5. 5. Make diagonal cuts into the flesh side of the fish using a sharp knife.
  6. 6. Cut a lemon in half lengthwise.
  7. 7. Squeeze the juice from one lemon half.
  8. 8. Slice the other lemon half into thin rounds.
  9. 9. Insert the lemon slices into the cuts you made in the fish earlier.
  10. 10. Pluck the remaining parsley leaves from the stems.
  11. 11. Chop the parsley leaves finely.
  12. 12. Mix the chopped herbs with the breadcrumbs, lemon juice, and olive oil to form the crust.
  13. 13. Halve the garlic cloves.
  14. 14. Mix the garlic pieces with the herb and breadcrumb mixture.
  15. 15. Serve the finished fish according to your preference together with toasted white bread.
