  3. 3. Peel the tough stem of the broccoli.
  4. 4. Finely chop the peeled stem.
  5. 5. Clean the savoy cabbage.
  6. 6. Remove the hard stem and the outer leaves from the savoy cabbage.
  7. 7. Slice the remaining savoy cabbage leaves into thin strips.
  8. 8. Peel the potatoes.
  9. 9. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
  10. 10. Peel, wash, and dice the carrots.
  11. 11. Peel, wash, and dice the parsnips.
  12. 12. Peel, wash, and dice the celery stalks.
  13. 13. Peel the garlic clove.
  14. 14. Peel the onion.
  15. 15. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
  16. 16. Heat the oil in a large pot.
  17. 17. Add the prepared vegetables to the pot.
  18. 18. Sauté the vegetables for 5 minutes over medium heat.
