🍽️ Hearty Potato Goulash

Ingredients
- 800 g new potatoes
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 0.5 l vegetable broth
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 1 tbsp yellow curry powder
- 1 pinch cumin
- 1 onion
- 250 g green beans
- 1 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tsp flour
- salt
- pepper
- 2 broth sausages (sliced)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the potatoes into small, bite-sized cubes.
- 3. Peel the onions and chop them finely.
- 4. Heat the oil in a large pot.
- 5. Add the chopped onions to the hot oil.
- 6. Sauté the onions briefly until they are soft.
- 7. Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press.
- 8. Add the pressed garlic to the onion mixture.
- 9. Stir the tomato paste into the vegetables.
- 10. Add the potato cubes to the pot.
- 11. Pour the vegetable broth over the potatoes.
- 12. Remove the needles from the fresh rosemary and add them.
- 13. Add the curry powder to the pan.
- 14. Add the cumin (a spice made from cumin seeds).
- 15. Stir all the spices in well.
- 16. Place the lid on the pot.
- 17. Let the goulash simmer gently with the lid on for 15 minutes.
- 18. Wash the beans thoroughly.
- 19. Remove any stems from the beans.
- 20. Cut the beans into small pieces.
- 21. Add the beans to the partially cooked potatoes.
- 22. Let the beans cook along with the potatoes for about 10 minutes.
- 23. Take a small bowl.
- 24. Add the cream to the bowl.
- 25. Add the flour to the cream.
- 26. Whisk the cream and flour until smooth.
- 27. Stir the cream-flour mixture into the potato dish.
- 28. Let the dish come to a brief boil.
- 29. Season the goulash to taste with salt.
- 30. Season the goulash to taste with pepper.
- 31. Add the sausage slices to the pot.
- 32. Let the sausage slices heat through briefly in the goulash.
