🍽️ Hearty Pan-Fried Potato Skillet

Ingredients
- 3 Vienna sausages
- 0.5 bunch mixed herbs (e.g. parsley, basil, chives, dill)
- 700 g firm-cooking, cooked potatoes (from the day before)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 150 g green peas (frozen)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 200 g Gouda (sliced)
Instructions
- 1. Slice the sausages into thick rounds. Wash the herbs, shake them dry, and chop them finely. Slice the potatoes and fry them in a large, non-stick pan for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
- 2. Add the peas and sausage slices and cook for another 5 minutes. Stir in the herbs and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 3. Slice the Gouda cheese into strips, arrange them in a grid pattern over the skillet, and place the lid on top. Melt the cheese under the lid on low heat for 5 minutes (gratinating) and serve the dish directly from the pan.
