  1. 1. Slice the sausages into thick rounds. Wash the herbs, shake them dry, and chop them finely. Slice the potatoes and fry them in a large, non-stick pan for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  2. 2. Add the peas and sausage slices and cook for another 5 minutes. Stir in the herbs and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. 3. Slice the Gouda cheese into strips, arrange them in a grid pattern over the skillet, and place the lid on top. Melt the cheese under the lid on low heat for 5 minutes (gratinating) and serve the dish directly from the pan.
