  1. 1. Melt the chocolate. Mix the marzipan base with the powdered sugar and orange liqueur until smooth. Finally, stir the melted chocolate into the marzipan mixture.
  2. 2. Slice the dates lengthwise, but do not cut all the way through. Remove the pits.
  3. 3. Put the marzipan mixture into a piping bag with a round tip. Pipe the filling into the dates. Sprinkle the filled dates with ground almonds for garnish.
