  4. 4. Reserve a small amount of the water in a glass.
  5. 5. Pat the dates dry with a kitchen towel.
  6. 6. Place the dates in a blender.
  7. 7. Peel the ginger.
  8. 8. Chop the ginger roughly.
  9. 9. Add the ginger to the blender.
  10. 10. Add the cinnamon to the blender.
  11. 11. Puree the mixture until smooth.
  12. 12. Add a little of the reserved water if needed.
  13. 13. Stir the milk with one tablespoon of sugar.
  14. 14. Crumble the yeast into the milk.
  15. 15. Put the flour into a large bowl.
  16. 16. Add the butter to the bowl.
  17. 17. Add the remaining sugar to the bowl.
  18. 18. Crack the egg into the bowl.
  19. 19. Pour the yeast milk into the bowl.
  20. 20. Knead the dough with an electric hand mixer.
