🍽️ Crispy Fries and Spicy Curry Sausage

Ingredients
- 800 g potatoes
- 1.2 l oil
- 4 veal sausages
- curry powder
- ketchup
- salt
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes.
- 2. Cut the potatoes into sticks about 6 centimeters long.
- 3. Rinse the potato sticks under running water.
- 4. Pat the potato sticks completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 5. Heat the oil in a pot to 175 degrees.
- 6. Fry half of the potato sticks for about 4 minutes.
- 7. Remove the par-fried potatoes from the oil.
- 8. Fry the remaining half of the potato sticks for about 4 minutes as well.
- 9. Heat the frying oil to 190 degrees.
- 10. Fry the par-fried potatoes for a few minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- 11. Place the finished fries in a bowl.
- 12. Season the fries with salt.
- 13. Fry the veal sausages in some oil in a pan until browned on all sides.
- 14. Cut the cooked sausages into bite-sized pieces.
- 15. Divide the french fries among 4 plates or paper bowls.
- 16. Arrange the sausage pieces on top of the fries.
- 17. Drizzle about 4 tablespoons of ketchup over each sausage.
- 18. Sprinkle generously with curry powder over the sausage.
- 19. Serve the dish immediately.
