  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Peel the garlic clove and the piece of ginger.
  3. 3. Chop the garlic and ginger very finely.
  4. 4. Fry the finely chopped vegetables briefly in hot oil.
  5. 5. Remove the fried vegetables from the pan and set them aside.
  6. 6. Stir the curry powder, salt, and pepper into the hot pan.
  7. 7. Rinse the chicken meat under running water.
  8. 8. Pat the chicken dry with a kitchen towel.
  9. 9. Rub the chicken meat thoroughly with the spice mixture.
  10. 10. Grease a baking dish with some fat.
  11. 11. Place the seasoned chicken into the prepared dish.
  12. 12. Bake the chicken in the oven for about 60 minutes.
  13. 13. Wash the zucchini under running water.
  14. 14. Cut off the hard ends of the zucchini.
  15. 15. Cut the zucchini into small cubes.
  16. 16. Remove the pits from the dates.
  17. 17. Cut the pitted dates into cubes as well.
  18. 18. Heat butter in a pot.
  19. 19. Sauté the zucchini cubes in the hot butter.
  20. 20. Pour 400 milliliters of water over the zucchini cubes.
  21. 21. Sprinkle the couscous into the pan.
  22. 22. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  23. 23. Remove the pot from the heat.
  24. 24. Let the couscous swell until the liquid is absorbed.
  25. 25. Stir the date cubes into the couscous mixture.
  26. 26. Season the couscous with salt.
  27. 27. Season the couscous with pepper.
  28. 28. Add some lemon juice to the couscous.
  29. 29. Place the baked chicken on a plate.
  30. 30. Place the zucchini-date couscous next to the chicken.
