  2. 2. Remove the tough outer leaves and the hard central core.
  3. 3. Slice the remaining cabbage pieces into thin strips.
  4. 4. Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes.
  5. 5. Heat the oil in a large pan or pot.
  6. 6. Add the onion cubes to the hot oil.
  7. 7. Sauté the onions until they are soft and translucent.
  8. 8. Add the sliced cabbage strips to the onions.
  9. 9. Fry the cabbage briefly until it starts to soften.
  10. 10. Sprinkle the curry powder over the vegetables.
  11. 11. Add the tomatoes along with their juice to the pan.
  12. 12. Pour in the vegetable broth.
  13. 13. Stir in the peanuts.
  14. 14. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
