  1. 1. Add the lentils and broth to a pot and bring to a boil. Stir in the curry powder, cover the pot, and let it simmer on low heat for 6 minutes.
  2. 2. Meanwhile, wash the celery, drain it, and clean it. If necessary, remove any tough strings. Set aside the green leaves.
  3. 3. Slice the celery into about 5 millimeter thick rounds. Add them to the lentils and let everything cook covered for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. 4. Rinse the celery greens, shake off excess water, and cut them into coarse strips.
  5. 5. Season the lentil curry soup with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with the celery greens and serve with a dollop of yogurt.
