Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 100 g ground hazelnuts
- 125 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 150 g soft butter
- 600 g green gooseberries
- 2 pearl sugar
Instructions
- 1. Mix flour, hazelnuts, sugar, and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Add the egg yolk and butter, then knead the mixture with your hands until small, crumbly streusel pieces have formed.
- 2. Take two-thirds of the streusel and press it firmly into a pie dish to form a base. Place the dish in the refrigerator for a while.
- 3. Thoroughly wash the gooseberries, remove any stems or leaves, and let them drain on a kitchen towel.
- 4. Place the gooseberries on the prepared streusel base. Sprinkle them with one tablespoon of pearl sugar. Distribute the remaining streusel evenly on top. Bake the crumble in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes. Finally, serve it with a pinch of pearl sugar.
