🍽️ Creamy Pork Stew with Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 600 g pork loin (or -fillet)
- 200 g mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 200 ml meat broth
- 100 ml whipping cream
- salt
- white pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- chive rings (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the meat under cold water and pat it dry with kitchen paper.
- 2. Cut the meat into bite-sized cubes.
- 3. Clean the mushrooms and slice them thinly.
- 4. Peel the onion and garlic and chop both finely.
- 5. Melt the butter in a pot and sauté the onion and garlic mixture until translucent.
- 6. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir briefly.
- 7. Deglaze the pan with the wine and stir vigorously.
- 8. Pour in the broth and let the sauce simmer gently for a few minutes.
- 9. Blend the sauce finely with a hand blender or press it through a fine sieve.
- 10. Stir the cream into the sauce.
- 11. Simmer the sauce a bit more to thicken it, or add a little broth to thin it out, depending on your preference.
- 12. Fry the meat in a non-stick pan with a little oil over high heat.
- 13. Remove the pan from the heat, season the meat with salt and pepper, and let it finish cooking in the residual heat.
- 14. Fry the mushrooms in the same pan with a little oil over high heat.
- 15. Remove the pan from the heat, season the mushrooms with salt and pepper, and let them finish cooking in the residual heat.
- 16. Divide the meat and mushrooms onto the plates.
- 17. Pour the sauce over the meat and mushrooms.
- 18. Garnish the dish with chive rings.
- 19. Serve the food immediately.
- 20. Serve with rice if you like.
