🍽️ Creamy cream cheese dip with fresh herbs

Ingredients
- 1 bunch mixed herbs (e.g. parsley, arugula, chives, chervil, basil)
- 500 g cream cheese (plain)
- 0.5 untreated lemon (juice)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 slices dark bread
- olive oil (for drizzling)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the herbs under cold water.
- 2. Shake the herbs well to remove excess water.
- 3. Chop two-thirds of the herbs very finely.
- 4. Stir the cream cheese mixture with the lemon juice and cream until smooth.
- 5. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 6. Shape the cream cheese mixture attractively on a plate.
- 7. Cut the bread into strips.
- 8. Toast the bread strips in a hot pan without additional fat until golden brown.
- 9. Remove the toasted strips from the pan.
- 10. Let the bread strips cool down.
- 11. Garnish the cream cheese mixture with the remaining fresh herbs.
- 12. Drizzle the cream cheese mixture with olive oil.
- 13. Grind freshly ground pepper over it.
- 14. Serve the dish together with the cooled bread strips.
