  5. 5. Fry the vegetables for two to three minutes over medium heat.
  6. 6. Wash the tomatoes.
  7. 7. Cut the tomatoes into large pieces.
  8. 8. Add the tomato pieces to the onion and garlic mixture.
  9. 9. Simmer the mixture for ten minutes.
  10. 10. Stir in the tomato paste.
  11. 11. Pour in the broth.
  12. 12. Season the soup with salt, pepper, honey, and oregano.
  13. 13. Let the soup simmer for twenty minutes over medium heat.

  15. 15. Pass the soup through a fine sieve.
