  1. 1. Soak the cranberries in the wine overnight and store them in a cool place. The next day, add a piece of orange peel, bring the mixture to a boil, and stir occasionally. Remove the orange peel, and stir in port wine, orange juice, cranberry jelly, and mustard.
  2. 2. Season the sauce and let it cool down to lukewarm. Meanwhile, toast the almonds in a non-stick pan without fat until golden yellow. Let them cool down, and fold them into the sauce before serving.
