  2. 2. Place the berries, sugar, and 100 milliliters of pear juice into a pot.
  3. 3. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
  4. 4. Reduce the heat to low and let the punch simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. 5. Stir occasionally until the cranberries are soft.
  6. 6. Peel the ginger root in the meantime.
  7. 7. Slice the ginger into thin rounds.
  8. 8. Wash the lemongrass thoroughly.
  9. 9. Set aside two stalks for garnish.
  10. 10. Lightly pound the remaining stalks with a meat mallet to soften them.
  11. 11. Add the pounded lemongrass, the remaining pear juice, and the ginger to the pot.
  12. 12. Add the vanilla powder, wine, and cinnamon sticks.
  13. 13. Warm the punch over medium heat.
  14. 14. Let the flavors meld together for 10 to 15 minutes.
  15. 15. Strain the finished punch into glasses through a sieve.
  16. 16. Garnish each glass with a piece of lemongrass.
