🍽️ Crispy Crab Cakes with Sweet and Sour Dip

Ingredients
- 800 g Crab meat
- 2 tbsp Corn kernels (chopped)
- 1 Chili pepper (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp red bell peppers (finely diced)
- 2 Spring onions
- 1 Egg
- Salt
- Cayenne pepper
- White bread crumbs
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop the crab meat.
- 2. Wash the spring onions and trim off the ends.
- 3. Chop the spring onions very finely as well.
- 4. Add the crab, onions, corn, peppers, chili, and egg to a bowl.
- 5. Mix everything thoroughly.
- 6. Season the mixture with salt and cayenne pepper.
- 7. Check the consistency: If the mixture is too soft, add some of the breadcrumbs.
- 8. Form small cakes from the mixture.
- 9. Coat the cakes in the white bread crumbs so they are covered everywhere.
- 10. Fry the cakes in hot oil for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 11. Place the finished cakes on kitchen paper to drain excess oil.
- 12. Serve the cakes with a sweet and sour dip, if desired.
