  1. 1. Finely chop the crab meat.
  2. 2. Wash the spring onions and trim off the ends.
  3. 3. Chop the spring onions very finely as well.
  4. 4. Add the crab, onions, corn, peppers, chili, and egg to a bowl.
  5. 5. Mix everything thoroughly.
  6. 6. Season the mixture with salt and cayenne pepper.
  7. 7. Check the consistency: If the mixture is too soft, add some of the breadcrumbs.
  8. 8. Form small cakes from the mixture.
  9. 9. Coat the cakes in the white bread crumbs so they are covered everywhere.
  10. 10. Fry the cakes in hot oil for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  11. 11. Place the finished cakes on kitchen paper to drain excess oil.
  12. 12. Serve the cakes with a sweet and sour dip, if desired.
