🍽️ Crispy Cordon Bleu with Fried Potatoes

Ingredients
- 800 g pork cutlets (4 pork cutlets; approx 2cm thick)
- 4 slices raclette cheese
- 4 slices cooked ham
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp flour
- 8 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 4 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 500 g cooked, peeled potatoes (from the day before)
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- paprika powder
Instructions
- 1. Cut a pocket into the cutlets using a sharp knife.
- 2. Place one slice of cheese and one slice of ham into each pocket.
- 3. Secure the opening with wooden skewers.
- 4. Season the meat on the outside with salt and pepper.
- 5. Whisk the eggs in a deep plate.
- 6. Place the flour on a shallow plate.
- 7. Place the breadcrumbs on a separate shallow plate.
- 8. Coat the meat first in the flour.
- 9. Dip the meat into the whisked eggs.
- 10. Roll the meat in the breadcrumbs.
- 11. Heat oil and butter in a frying pan.
- 12. Fry the cutlets on each side until golden brown over medium heat.
- 13. Slice the potatoes.
- 14. Fry the potato slices in a large pan in hot butter until golden brown.
- 15. Season the fried potatoes with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- 16. Plate the Cordon Bleu.
- 17. Serve it with the fried potatoes.
- 18. Sprinkle the dish with chopped parsley.
