  1. 1. Wash the cocktail tomatoes under running water and pat them dry.
  2. 2. Slice off a very thin layer from the bottom of each tomato so they stand firmly on the plate.
  3. 3. Cut off the top part (the lid) of a tomato and set it aside for decoration.
  4. 4. Carefully scoop out the flesh from the tomato using a small spoon.
  5. 5. Drain the olives in a sieve.
  6. 6. Chop the olives finely.
  7. 7. Crumble the feta cheese into small pieces.
  8. 8. Wash the fresh basil and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
  9. 9. Chop about half of the basil very finely.
  10. 10. Place the hollowed-out tomatoes, the olives, the feta, and the chopped basil into a large bowl.
  11. 11. Drizzle the mixture with olive oil.
  12. 12. Season everything with salt and black pepper to taste.
  13. 13. Mix the ingredients well until evenly distributed.
  14. 14. Fill the feta mixture back into the hollowed-out tomatoes.
  15. 15. Skewer the remaining whole basil leaves onto toothpicks.
  16. 16. Insert the toothpicks with the leaves into the stuffed tomatoes for decoration.
  17. 17. Arrange the finished tomatoes on a serving platter.
  18. 18. Serve the tomatoes immediately.
