  1. 1. Slice the bread into 1 cm thick pieces. Bake them in the preheated oven at 200 °C (convection 180 °C, gas: level 3) on the middle rack on the wire rack until golden yellow. Remove them and let them cool down slightly.
  2. 2. Peel the garlic and lightly rub the bread slices with it.
  3. 3. Finely chop the salmon.
  4. 4. Wash the spring onions, trim the ends, and slice them into fine rings.
  5. 5. Wash the dill, shake it dry, and pluck off the leaves. Set some aside and finely chop the rest.
  6. 6. Mix the salmon, onions, dill, and mustard with the oil in a bowl. Season with some pepper.
  7. 7. Squeeze the lemon. Stir the cream cheese smooth with some lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. 8. Peel the horseradish, grate it finely, and stir it into the cream cheese.
  9. 9. Spread each bread slice with some cream cheese, distribute the salmon on top, and garnish with dill.
