🍽️ Sweet and Spicy Banana Chutney

Ingredients
- 2 bananas
- 2 ripe mangoes
- 1 red chili pepper
- 1 garlic clove
- 3 cm fresh ginger
- 200 ml apple cider vinegar
- 50 g raisins
- 150 g sugar
- salt
- curry powder
Instructions
- 1. Peel the bananas.
- 2. Slice the bananas into thick rounds.
- 3. Peel the mangoes.
- 4. Remove the mango flesh from the pit.
- 5. Cut the mango flesh into small cubes.
- 6. Wash the chili pepper.
- 7. Cut the chili pepper in half lengthwise.
- 8. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper.
- 9. Finely chop the chili pepper flesh.
- 10. Peel the garlic.
- 11. Peel the ginger.
- 12. Chop the garlic finely.
- 13. Chop the ginger finely.
- 14. Place all prepared ingredients into a pot.
- 15. Add the vinegar to the pot.
- 16. Add the raisins to the pot.
- 17. Add the sugar to the pot.
- 18. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring.
- 19. Let the chutney simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 20. Check if the chutney has thickened slightly.
- 21. Season the chutney with salt.
- 22. Season the chutney with curry powder.
- 23. Fill the chutney into a clean, prepared jar.
