  1. 1. Put the milk, 60 milliliters of water, the butter, and a pinch of salt into a pot.
  2. 2. Heat the mixture on the stove until it boils.
  3. 3. Take the pot off the heat briefly and add all the flour at once.
  4. 4. Stir the flour vigorously into the liquid with a cooking spoon.
  5. 5. Put the pot back on the heat and keep stirring until the dough has cooked for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  6. 6. The dough is ready when it forms a firm ball that pulls away from the bottom of the pot.
  7. 7. Take the pot off the heat and transfer the hot dough into a separate bowl.
  8. 8. Let the dough cool down briefly until it is lukewarm.
  9. 9. Mix the eggs one by one into the dough using an electric hand mixer until it is smooth.
  10. 10. Fill the finished dough into a piping bag.
  11. 11. Attach a medium star nozzle to the tip of the piping bag.
  12. 12. Heat plenty of oil in a pan or pot for frying.
  13. 13. Pipe the dough into pieces about 5 centimeters long directly into the hot oil.
  14. 14. Fry the churros for 4 to 5 minutes until they are golden brown.
  15. 15. Turn the churros once while frying.
  16. 16. Lift the finished churros out of the oil with a slotted spoon.
  17. 17. Let the excess oil drain on kitchen paper.
  18. 18. Dust the churros with powdered sugar before serving.
