🍽️ Crispy Spanish Churros

Ingredients
- 60 ml Milk
- 30 g Butter
- Salt
- 60 g Flour
- 2 Eggs
- Oil (for frying)
- 4 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- 1. Put the milk, 60 milliliters of water, the butter, and a pinch of salt into a pot.
- 2. Heat the mixture on the stove until it boils.
- 3. Take the pot off the heat briefly and add all the flour at once.
- 4. Stir the flour vigorously into the liquid with a cooking spoon.
- 5. Put the pot back on the heat and keep stirring until the dough has cooked for about 3 to 4 minutes.
- 6. The dough is ready when it forms a firm ball that pulls away from the bottom of the pot.
- 7. Take the pot off the heat and transfer the hot dough into a separate bowl.
- 8. Let the dough cool down briefly until it is lukewarm.
- 9. Mix the eggs one by one into the dough using an electric hand mixer until it is smooth.
- 10. Fill the finished dough into a piping bag.
- 11. Attach a medium star nozzle to the tip of the piping bag.
- 12. Heat plenty of oil in a pan or pot for frying.
- 13. Pipe the dough into pieces about 5 centimeters long directly into the hot oil.
- 14. Fry the churros for 4 to 5 minutes until they are golden brown.
- 15. Turn the churros once while frying.
- 16. Lift the finished churros out of the oil with a slotted spoon.
- 17. Let the excess oil drain on kitchen paper.
- 18. Dust the churros with powdered sugar before serving.
