  1. 1. Remove the membranes from the beef suet.
  2. 2. Finely chop the chilled fat.
  3. 3. Cut the candied fruit into small cubes.
  4. 4. Mix the candied fruit with raisins, currants, almonds, breadcrumbs, sugar, and the suet.
  5. 5. Whisk eggs, milk, and whisky thoroughly.
  6. 6. Season the liquid with lemon zest and cinnamon.
  7. 7. Add the liquid mixture to the remaining ingredients.
  8. 8. Mix everything carefully.
  9. 9. Grease a pudding mold with its lid generously.
  10. 10. Coat the mold with breadcrumbs.
  11. 11. Fill the mixture into the mold.
  12. 12. Press the mixture down firmly.
  13. 13. Close the mold.
  14. 14. Cook the pudding in a water bath over low heat for 6 to 7 hours.
  15. 15. Store the pudding in the closed mold until you are ready to serve it.
  16. 16. Turn the pudding out onto a plate for serving.
  17. 17. Decorate it festively with powdered sugar, green marzipan leaves, and cranberries.
