Ingredients
- 1 tsp salt
- 300 g ground pork
- 100 g spring onions
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp ginger (freshly grated)
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 500 g flour
- oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Put the flour into a bowl.
- 2. Pour about 150 milliliters of water into the bowl.
- 3. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough.
- 4. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
- 5. Finely chop the spring onions.
- 6. Mix the onions with the minced meat.
- 7. Add the ginger and the sesame oil to the mixture.
- 8. Season the filling with salt.
- 9. Divide the dough into four equal pieces.
- 10. Roll each piece thinly into a rectangle.
- 11. Cut the rectangle into squares with a side length of 7 centimeters.
- 12. Place about one teaspoon of filling in the center of a dough square.
- 13. Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle.
- 14. Press the edges firmly together so the pocket closes.
- 15. Heat oil in a pan.
- 16. Fry the dough pockets in batches in the hot oil.
- 17. Fry them for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 18. Remove the pockets from the oil when they are golden brown and crispy.
