Ingredients
- 4 red chili peppers
- 2 garlic cloves
- 50 ml mild white wine vinegar
- 50 g honey
- lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chili peppers under running water.
- 2. Remove the green stems from the peppers.
- 3. Finely chop the chili peppers.
- 4. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 5. Finely chop the garlic as well.
- 6. Place the chopped chili into a pot.
- 7. Add the chopped garlic to the pot.
- 8. Pour the vinegar into the pot.
- 9. Add the honey to the mixture.
- 10. Pour about 200 milliliters of water into the pot.
- 11. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
- 12. Reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
- 13. Let the sauce simmer for about 40 minutes.
- 14. Stir the sauce occasionally.
- 15. Wait until the sauce has become thick.
- 16. Add a little lemon juice.
- 17. Adjust the flavor of the sauce with the lemon juice.
