🍽️ Make Your Own Chili Oil

Ingredients
- 8 red chili peppers
- 1 tbsp black peppercorns
- 1 tbsp green peppercorns
- 250 ml vegetable oil (e.g. olive oil)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chili peppers under running water.
- 2. Cut half of the pods in half lengthwise.
- 3. Leave the other half of the pods whole.
- 4. Add the chili pods along with the green and black peppercorns to the oil.
- 5. Seal the container tightly.
- 6. Store it in a cool, dark place for about 3 weeks.
- 7. Pour the finished oil through a fine sieve to remove the solid ingredients.
- 8. Transfer the oil into a bottle or a screw-top jar for storage.
