🍽️ Creamy Chili Hummus

Ingredients
- 250 g chickpeas (drained weight; jar)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 red chili peppers
- 30 g tahini (2 tbsp)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 20 g tomato paste (1 tbsp)
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- salt
- pepper
- ground cumin
- 10 g parsley (0.5 bunch)
Instructions
- 1. Pour the chickpeas into a colander.
- 2. Rinse them thoroughly under cold water.
- 3. Peel the skin off the garlic.
- 4. Wash the chili peppers under running water.
- 5. Remove the green stems from the chili peppers.
- 6. Cut the chili peppers into small pieces.
- 7. Put the tahini paste and the olive oil into the mixer.
- 8. Mix the ingredients for about one minute.
- 9. Add the chickpeas, garlic, and chili pieces to the mixer.
- 10. Add the tomato paste and the lemon juice.
- 11. Blend the mixture until it is creamy.
- 12. Add a little water at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
- 13. Season the hummus with salt, pepper, and cumin.
- 14. Wash the parsley under cold water.
- 15. Shake the parsley dry.
- 16. Finely chop the parsley.
- 17. Spoon the finished hummus into a bowl.
- 18. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the hummus.
