🍽️ Cozy Chili Meatball Stew

Ingredients
- 1 large can peeled tomatoes
- 2 green chili peppers
- 1 red chili pepper
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp oil
- 0.5 l beef broth (from a jar)
- 200 g mixed minced meat
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onions.
- 2. Chop the onions very finely.
- 3. Heat the oil in a pot.
- 4. Sauté the onions in the oil until they are soft.
- 5. Wash the chilies.
- 6. Cut the chilies in half lengthwise.
- 7. Remove the seeds from the chilies.
- 8. Chop the chilies finely as well.
- 9. Add the tomatoes along with their juice to the onions.
- 10. Crush the tomatoes slightly with a spoon.
- 11. Add the chopped chilies to the mixture.
- 12. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
- 13. Pour the broth into the pot.
- 14. Mix the meat in a bowl with the beaten egg.
- 15. Add the breadcrumbs to the meat mixture.
- 16. Season the meat mixture with salt and pepper.
- 17. Stir the parsley into the meat mixture.
- 18. Lightly dampen your hands.
- 19. Form walnut-sized meatballs from the mixture.
- 20. Add the meatballs to the soup.
- 21. Let everything simmer for another 15 minutes.
- 22. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
